Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 15, 2026
ApplyBrief is committed to making job application experiences usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies.
1. Our Commitment
We want candidates to be able to find, understand, and complete a job application regardless of ability. We aim to design and build ApplyBrief, and the job application pages we generate, so they work with screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies.
2. Standard We Target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as our working standard. This standard is referenced by accessibility laws in the regions where we operate, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States and the European Accessibility Act in the European Union.
3. What We Do
- Use semantic markup, labels, and headings so content is navigable with assistive technologies.
- Support keyboard navigation and visible focus states for interactive elements.
- Design the no-CV application flow as short, plain-language steps with clear error messages.
- Aim for sufficient color contrast and avoid conveying meaning by color alone.
- Review accessibility as part of how we build and change the product over time.
4. Known Limitations
Some application pages are generated from employer-provided content and brand assets, and some parts of the product are still being improved for full conformance. Third-party content, embedded media, or customer-supplied material may not always meet the same standard. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time milestone.
5. Feedback And Help
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on ApplyBrief, or need an application provided in a different format, contact contact@applybrief.com and tell us the page and the problem. We will try to help and to fix issues we can reproduce.
If your concern relates to a specific employer's hiring process, we may also direct you to that employer, who is responsible for its own accommodation decisions.
6. More Information
