ApplyBrief is built on public registries. This page names each one, what it is used for, and the licence under which it is used.
1. Registries
| Source | Publisher | What it is used for | Licence |
|---|---|---|---|
| O*NET-SOC taxonomy and O*NET 31.0 Database | U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA) | The occupation key behind every job and candidate: occupation codes, titles, descriptions, job titles, related occupations, software skills and work activities. Titles in Hebrew and Arabic are ours. | CC BY 4.0 |
| Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) 2018 structure | U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, as published by the O*NET Resource Center | The four levels above an occupation, used to widen or narrow a search. | Public domain (U.S. federal government work) |
2. O*NET attribution
This product uses the O*NET 31.0 Database by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA). Used under the CC BY 4.0 license. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA. ApplyBrief has modified all or some of this information; USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed, or tested these modifications.
The O*NET Resource Center publishes the database at onetcenter.org/database.html and its licence at onetcenter.org/license_db.html.
3. What these registries are not
Reference data describes occupations, not people. No registry on this page holds candidate or application records, and no candidate data is sent to any of these publishers. See our candidate privacy notice and sub-processors.
